(4.7a) Trap kit load effects ---------------------------- For most items loaded in monster traps the effects are sort of self-explanatory and some items have no effect at all (eg detection magic) but here is a list of those effects that might not be so obvious: Flasks: Oil Fire damage Acid Acid damage and blinding effect Potions: Salt Water Blind Weakness Reduces damage Clumsiness Reduces AC Sickliness Reduces HP Ruination Weakness + Clumsiness + Sickliness Lose Memories Confuse Life Holy fire vs Undead; heals non-undead Scrolls: Remove Curse Dispel undead *Remove Curse* *Dispel undead* Blessing Holy fire Holy Chant Holy fire Holy Prayer Holy fire Protection from Evil Dispel evil Rune of Protection Holds a monster in place temporarily Scroll of Life Erases ghosts ('G') Wands: Wall Creation Stone prison Staves: Remove Curse Dispel undead
