TomeNET is a multiplayer fantasy dungeon exploration game based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, AD&D and other influences. It is a game that emphasizes intricate, challenging, and varied gameplay over graphics. Hundreds of different monsters in randomly-generated, unpredictable dungeons will strive to slay you by various means, and you counter - if you survive - by developing the skills of your choice and wielding mighty artifacts.

• 2024-10-14: A third 'main game' server has been added: TomeNET 4.9.2 - NA (North America) region server. This one is hosted in Denver and should provide great latency for the USA, Canada and other nearby regions.
• 2024-10-02: Android/GCU-client makefile fixed (makefile.gcu) to compile non-test client correctly without errors, sorry about that.
• 2024-09-12: Windows Test Client now has a fix for IME (japanese/chinese/korean input methods), thanks to ASCIIPhilia.

• 2022-12-01: The latest guide is now over 25000 lines long. This will cause a crash with a 'Bad socket filedescriptor' message when you try to log in with a character. Please look here (forum) on the workarounds.
• 2022-04-10: Version 4.8.0 ninja-updated AGAIN. This time the crash of the draconian breath element-picking menu was fixed. A glitch with unstowing when backpack was near-empty was also fixed. Just hit 'update game client' button in the tomenet-updater (or download the ~3MB zip) and you're set.
• 2022-04-06: A second 'main game' server has been added: TomeNET 4.8.0 - APAC region server. This one is hosted in Tokyo and should provide good latency for the APAC region, asia/australia/india/maybe west coast too.
• 2022-04-05: Version 4.8.0 ninja-updated again, fixed CTRL+Z <-> \W collision and fixed \Wnnnn macro, and misc (see announcement forum, client-side updates). Just hit 'update game client' button in the tomenet-updater and you're set.
