(7.16) Food consumption
-----------------------
Almost all characters constantly burn food and need to replenish it or suffer
from the effects of starvation, see (4.11) for details about this weakening and
eventually deadly status effect: "Hunger".

The only time you don't have to worry about food is when you are within a town
area or while you are AFK (use "/afk" command to toggle your AFK state).
However, AFK'ing to pause food consumption only works if you were not already
hungry when you went AFK, beware.
Also, if you die and turn into a ghost you won't require food. Last but not
least, if you are in a safe area (special event sector/Arena Monster Challenge)
you also don't burn food.

Some characters, such as Vampires and Ents, have specific ways of feeding, see
their race information in (7.4) for details.

Maiar who have been initiated ie reached level 20 will not require any food at
all, neither will any character who has trained Holy Support school to 50.000.

If you eat too much, you will eventually become 'gorged', a status effect that
reduces your speed by 10. While 'gorged', characters burn food especially fast,
so you will return to normal quickly.
Some characters cannot get gorged:
- Dead player ghosts,
- true Vampires (ie the character class),
- Ents,
- initiated Maiar,
- Characters who have trained Holy Support school to 50.000.

For all characters which do require food:
-----------------------------------------
The amount of nutrition that your character consumes over time, which means how
fast your character will get hungry again, roughly depends on:

- Your speed and your weight. These are main factors that determine your base
amount of required food over time. Especially high speed can be 'expensive'.
If you use mimicry, heavy forms can put a great toll on your metabolism.

- Some races such as draconians or young vampires require especially much food.
High level vampires return to normal rate. Vampire royalties even require
almost no food at all, no matter which or how many nutrition-consuming
effects act on their body (ie everything else listed in this chapter)!

- Gaining adrenaline effect (from firestones) will increase food consumption
  enormously.

- Gaining biofeedback (from firestones), fast metabolism regeneration, troll
or hydra regeneration, wraithform or invulnerability will each add greatly
  to your food consumption.
(So any kind of half-trolls (including the character class) and trolls always
require a large amount of food, even more than draconians and young vampires,
as they have intrinsic troll regeneration.)

- Gaining regeneration, temporary stat-boosting effects, invisibility,
or +LIFE (from item or spell) will each significantly increase your food
  consumption.

- Having 'slow digestion' will cut your total food consumption rate to 3/4.
This will have no effect on true vampire royalties (race), as they already
consume the minimum possible amount of food over time.

Aside from obvious food items and saturation spells, some potions can also feed
the player, depending on the character's race, for example potions of healing.
The 'nutrition value' of a potion is specified as it's 'pval' in k_info.txt,
you can review it in the spoiler files menu ie ~ l k.
However, potion nutrition works differently on some characters:
- Vampires only get fed from potions of blood.
- Ents do get fed more from potions of water than other races.
- Mimicry users using undead forms receive reduced feeding effect from potions
  in general.
