I know that some classes or races get bonii on some types, but for example Orc Warrior to whom all melee weapon types are equal, why would you choose one over the other? So far I read that:
- Some are rarer for certain handedness.
- Wood chopping properties differ
- Swords cannot be damaged by fire
But is that all? Seems like swords are the best weapon type and all other types are only for builds that get bonii on them or are bad with swords. Is that true or is there more to melee weapon type selection? Would it ever make sense to train in more melee weapon types?
What is the point of different melee weapon types?
Re: What is the point of different melee weapon types?
because it's based on Dungeons & Dragons, which is based on the Mediaeval age/era and on the world (Arda) in JRR Tolkien's books (The Hobbit, Lord of The Rings, The Silmarillion, The History of Middle-earth, etc.) which are also based on Mediaeval
