Did something happened to Rods of Detection?
I successfully used them with my character in past (elf archer), got a macro on them. But today (after a bigger pause from play) I can't use them. Only 1% chance to use. I was sure before it was more than 90%. Why such drastic changes?

Ah sorry. Their level got adjusted, yes. But the mechanism of magic devices is that the fail rate can seem rather drastic when it's above certain break points, after which it can suddenly fall dramatically actually.
As detection includes a lot of minor detection mechanisms it was moved from being a low-level activation itself to a mid-level one.
