I've made musicpack and noticed some nasty stuff...

1) You could hear a music glitch when new melody starts there (0:58) when one melody (day) changing to the night:

I've met it several times. Need to investigate why its doing so.. Have no idea yet.

Its seems its only in .mp3 format..

2) some .mp3 files make tomenet freeze and crush. Its very dangerous. You can't login back to your character after such crush (you need to remove this musicfile 1st). Thats why I converted everything in .ogg... Beware!

Example of mp3 file which crushes the game:

I have a lot of such files lol... At first they were 320kbps.. And they crushed. Then I've converted them into 160 kbps, but they still crush. No idea what to do.. The only way atm is to use .ogg format.

We use the SDL_mixer library, it handles all the audio files. If this is a bug in SDL_mixer we won't be able to fix it.
I'm not sure about the specification of the SDL_mixer library regarding input bit rates.

Maybe report this glitch to devs of SDL_mixer library?

Still its ok if you use .ogg format. It sounds pretty the same :)
