On my main character turning searching on improves my stealth, however on my Thunderlord it causes my stealth to drop from excellent to bad.
It appears to happen because:
- the searching stealth bonus is applied before the stealth skill is taken into account
- it's multiplicative
And in effect it multiplies a negative number (Thunderlord base stealth is -16), yielding a much lower stealth ability.
I think a change is in order, because this situation is a bit absurd, either:
- make the searching bonus additive instead
- or apply it after taking into account hard earned skillpoints put into the stealth skill
