I've played my fair share of rogues Yeah... I recommend sneakiness and interception for beginners.
Sneakiness helps a lot as it improves your speed. I usually stopped after i get max 4 speed out of it Interception must be maxxed to prevent summons (see formula from guide) so it will eat a lot of your skillpoints, but it's a really great skill. Criticial hit requires low-weight sword weapon
I always put 3.000 to divination early on to get detect monsters spell.
