S_MONSTER means anything. The rule for summoned monster is level <= average of summoner level and dungeon depth you're at. A priest (level 12) summoning a (lesser) balrog (level 49) cannot happen until level 49=(12+x)/2 which is level 86.

I got some more questions from ~ d (server characteristics)

1) "A dungeon level will be erased abotu 20-30 seconds after you left"

Very often when I go to the a level and then come back to a previous one (if next is terrifying for example), previous level looks like its not the same. But I was absent 3-4 second, why it looks different? So is it the same level with difference < or is it new lvl generated?

2) "you can walk through your house door"

How to do so? I have to open and close door every time

3) Would I get exp for killing sleeping monsters?

4) How I could look at my game history? I mean somekind of logs - are they stored somehow in game folder? Could I find log of battle which was several days ago?

1) It a new level generated. Time for level to change is random. It can be longer from this 20~30 second and shorter. Look at guide about scumming. :)
2) as vampire mist you can go through your house even without opening doors. But if you don't own house, you can't pass door even if they are unlucked. Ok you can switch with house owner, to acces it. So this messege mean you are only player who can walk inside house, without this switching thing technique, even if you must open doors
3) Why would you don't get xp for killing sleeping monsters? As rogue you can backstab them in sleep :) If you gain no xp check if you are not to shallow. Check 3.2 in guide about depth indicator
4) you can write log of all message from game messages window at closing tomenet. You have question about saving log. If you don't write at closing, no log after logout. you can write it with custom name, so it easy to find in game folder.

Thats why I'm asking. Due guide and server info levels has to stay static 20-30 seconds. So its still unclear situation for me.

Non-sleeping monsters adjust to highest player within their awareness area.
Level of a player casting support spells on you affects exp for 200 turns.
Monsters' exp value is affected by highest attacking or targetted player.

Oh, I forgot about it, thanks :) Is there way to save all logs automatically, without this notification? I'll forget to save it, I'm sure ;)

May be its not clear from my last message that I still have two questions:

1) Due guide and server info levels has to stay static 20-30 seconds.

Lvl
Why it doesn't stay static in real? Lvl changing after a 1-2 seconds after absence in main cases.

1) The guide and ~d should be corrected, since scumming is allowed. You can /rfe (or /bug) this.

2) The monster experience reward is reduced if a higher (8+) level character is made aware to them. Sleeping monsters are just less aware and thus don't reduce their experience award if they never notice that a higher level character was present, even within their 'awake' awareness area.

Is infra-vision works at just warm or hot monsters? Like fire elemental? or it works only at living creatures?

1) About archers' skill Precision shot ( http://www.tomenet.eu/guide.php?chapter=6.12 )

What is making more DPS - Precision shot (7 stamina) or Barrage (9 stamina)?

I tried barrage skill at dummy - it seems it doesn't make "6 shots are fired at once"... it makes only 1 shop at dummy. Very strange. Is it useful only for stunning?

2) is Berserk Strength potion works for archers?

No idea about Precision vs Barrage since I never use Barrage. I would go with Precision, since it does a huge crit on a turn.

Potions of Berserk Strength work for any character, and it's especially good for archer, since you will always get a tohit boost... and you won't really care about AC reduction. You can also use heroism/holy prayer for more tohit boost.
