Re: Boots are too rare

The way to get good boots as far as I know is to save up your money then look around for a secret footware shop in a dungeon.

Re: Boots are too rare

It's hard to find good boots because for anyone who doesn't have ground ID the only realistic way to clear a pit full of valuables is to melt all the loot and pick up the remaining artifacts which are of course unable to be burned. That aside it's not only limited to boots, great gloves and cloaks a...

Re: Aggro at items

Its quite often to meet aggro suffix at good items. In TomeNet agro in most cases makes such item rubbish (not much tanks and parties around) cause it wakes up monsters and make you easy to die. May be add players possibility to turn off aggro, like it could be done with teleport or earthquake prop...

More Variety for Mimics

With as much as I love the class, I feel like they have the potential to be so much more. Before I had any idea what kinds of monsters existed and what kinds of forms are good, I was extremely excited by the concept behind mimics. Essentially it's a class that uses the special abilities of monsters ...

Re: Sanity indicator

I'd advise your friend turn on sound, every time a creature attacks your sanity it normally makes a spooky noise and red text pops up in the game messages window. Sound is also useful for hearing Quylthulgs blinking around!

Re: No more modes

Right now there are two main modes: everlasting and non-everlasting (normal and unworldy could trade each other, form party & etc), so has too much options :) I've been playing this game for years and I just found out yesterday that Everlasting were the only ones prevented from playing with oth...

Re: No more modes

I think modes should stay personally, there's nothing wrong with giving players a choice of whether they want a more casual or hardcore experience. The real problem I have is the segregation between the game modes, I can understand why item trading is forbidden but at the very least we should be all...

Re: True artifacts revamp

Requirements for gauntlets: The Set of Gauntlets 'Paurnen' {+,17} [2,+15] So Its lvl 17 req., you cant use them at lvl 5-10... The level requirement doesn't apply to the first person to pick the item up. If a level 1 found it in the barrow downs they would be able to use it. You have to "own&q...

Re: True artifacts revamp

The true artifacts you're finding are on the really low end of the loot table. I know there's four sets of gauntlets all beginning with "Paur" that only give a brand and a resist, I would always find those when I was hunting Scrags on my Druid, and I could never really find a use for them ...

Re: Hitchhiker's guide to the Middle Earth (newbie guide)

I would definitely recommend a druid as somebody's first character. They're both extremely powerful and extremely versatile. My first 4-5 characters above level 20 were all druids.
