IDDC timeout

Not sure if this is a feature or a bug, I'm currently playing IDDC and was on level 26 . My internet went down and I logged back on probably between one and two minutes later.
The floor was already stale, I had over one hundred thousand worth of standarts on the floor I was kicked from.
Could the logout/DC timer please be extended?

AFAIK its not a bug, just normal in-game mechanics.
You lost imtes - its sad. But on the other hand - if you got disconnected and there are monsters around - probability that you would be killed raising with extended timer. And I think to stay alive in IDDC is more important than to have possibility to return to the same lvl after DC... So I'm not sure that its good idea

The time your character stays active, and able to be hit by monsters is the same whether you log out or are disconnected. So if you DC well surrounded by monsters you will still most likely die.
What I was wondering was could the level stay active for a longer time. So when you log back in you are still on the same level.
