Cloud spell when logged out

So, Earlier today I killed Nicolai with my runemaster by casting armageddon cloud in town and logging out. Apparently, once you log out the player takes the full wrath of the cloud. We tested it with a Druid's Tox just to be sure it wasn't just my runemaster.
