Bug. Likely caused by new wall-targetting capabilities.
Not sure if this is 'new' or not, but it just happened to me -- knowing I had no acid resistance, I dropped my spellbook and crossed a mountain to fight. AS I was crossing over, I was hit with a breath attack...
Player is standing in a mountain tile. Z's are acid hounds. Breath attack hits player, destroys paper on the other side of the wall.
