Its quite a pain to buy items in Bree every time when your IDDC-character dies. You have to wait for good prices for a lot of time - hour or two... So I have an suggestion to add somekind of bundles which player could choose at character creation. Its not for free - it would be deducted from character starter gold as if this items would be bought at [sale] (50% price) by character with midiocre charisma (so actually hardcore shop cheezers who wanna buy items for 90% price would still have better conditions of beginning).
Bundle example:
Fire resist ring (155) + amulet of acid resistance (155) + latern (90) + 5 potions of cure light wounds (40) = 440 g.
So if a player chooses to have this bundle - he would start with 360 gold (800-440) and this items.

I'm not up to cheeze 90% prices anymore in my life. Its too hardcore
[sale] is quite ok.
