I suppose archer could be a bit revamped to make it more 'active' class.

Lets start:

Flare Missile 2 stamina (4.000 Archery)

Pretty good skill, but currently its doesn't used often cause you need to spend full oil flask for _one_ shot.. Oil flask is enough for loads of shots, so maybe...

Suggestion:
...make it like this: after you use skill, next 10 (or 1....10 - depends at archery lvl) shots would have fire brand. Then it would be pretty fun to use this skill much more often!

Precision Shot 7 stamina (8.000 Archery)

Maybe make it cost less? It looks very expensive for only _one_ shot. For example, right now I'm 40 lvl archer and got 5 shots per round. Each 100-120 dmg (~550 per turn). With Prec.shot I have ~300 dmg with first shot, so its become 700 for _one turn_. And its for 7 stamina. Not really make sense. It eats turn so its good only use if for 'opener'.

Suggestion:
Lets it cost 5 stamina?

Craft Ammunition - (10.000 Archery)

It would be great to add possibility to see all bones/rubbles at lvl (bones 'esp') to be able to find them easier...

Double Shot 1 stamina* (16.000 Archery)

Pretty useless skill... I doubt anyone used it ever :) But if we would buff it - it could be pretty interesting.

Suggestion:
buff damage to make it at least 120% dmg of normal per turn (so each shot would make 60%+60% dmg) - so it would be any sence to use it at big amount of monsters..

Barrage 9 stamina (25.000 Archery)

Also not useful. Huge stamina cost and less damage then Precision Shot. Stun from it doesn't work VS bosses in most cases (and its when you actually need to use skills like that!).

Suggestion:
Make it work as AoE shot which shoots at certain area around target. Make AoE size increase with archery skills.


New skills suggesion:

Poisoned arrows 4 stamina (12.000 Archery)

Similar to 'Apply Poison' rogue-class skill, but applied at arrows. It doesn't change arrows actually but make all your shots for certain time has poison brand.


Mighty shot 3 stamina (15.000 Archery)

Make shot which pierce target(s). Useful in narrow corridors.


Cripple shot 3 stamina (35.000 Archery)

Make target slow for certain time.


Eagle Eye 1 stamina (12.000 Archery)

Close to 'Perceive Noise' (rogue skill) but show objects in direct sight. Works as Illumination rod, but don't enlight surroundings - only shows objects/monsters.

Leap 1 stamina (20.000 Archery)

You leap back (2...3 tiles, depends at archery skill) in direction 'from closest monster'. Could be an alternative to phase door sometimes; quite fun.

As you see, the idea - to make archer skills more vertisile - so you have to act different in different situations, choose right skills in right time. It would make archer even more fun :) Also please notice, that maybe after making archer skills more powerful - it would be needed to neft a bit his 'raw' dmg, to make archer not imba :) Actually I don't feel archer too powerful right now in compare to other classes (at high levels of course; at start archer is damm good), so it has some 'empty' space in it for improvement :)
