I'm heading to The Mines of Moria ...

Post by Archma »

Moria? Moria? The Moria? can't be, can it be, could be, I can see it, it's getting closer, unable to describe.. the air, the air is dense, I cannot breath. Lack of air did not kill me...

- I know its south-west of Bree above The Heart with a depth of -1500 to -2500.

What do you Know? What to watch out for? What can i expect? What items are needed?
What resistances are recommended? What will kill me the most?
Whats the main Uniques Bosses that can spawn or I need to kill?
Share the Knowledge ><

Couldn't wait.
Took the risk and completed the dive. After all the trepidation of the place and never entering I was pleasantly surprised at how kewl it was. Climbing Gear rocked and saw many pits.
Pity it is red >, as to what lvl to enter it at is a hard one to guess.

I like it. It's kind of hardcore orc caves.

Not sure if it was different when this post was made, but Moria is as of the present a force_down dungeon. I learned this the hard way when I stumbled into it many months ago thinking it was no recall. The difference between the two dungeon types is a slight difference in how dark the shade of red is.

Yep, its not distinguishable. Better to make it pink of violet.

Did it in 20 minutes in NE-mode. Was very scary, almost every lvl had vaults or some unknows blinking monsters. So if you get there with a limited supplies - try to get through levels asap, cause if you get stack on any level - you could be in danger.
