Re: HOW TO not get summoned ons
Couldn't wait. Took the risk and completed the dive. After all the trepidation of the place and never entering I was pleasantly surprised at how kewl it was. Climbing Gear rocked and saw many pits. Pity it is red >, as to what lvl to enter it at is a hard one to guess. You probably posted in the wr...

Re: Client updates
The Linux binaries for 4.5.8 have been updated. The original binaries were missing the runtime library search path (sorry about that). The updated binaries should fix any issues with missing shared libraries. 64-bit Linux client: http://www.tomenet.eu/downloads/tomenet-4.5.8-linux-amd64.tar.bz2 32-b...

Re: How to make an Admin char?
If your server is running on Linux, you can use the accedit tool to toggle the admin flag (and any other flags). By default, the first account on a server will be an admin. You can then use the /makeadmin command in-game to make more admins.

Re: Missing Key?
This is actually an upcoming feature in the next client release. Ctrl-E will allow the users of the rogue-like commands to access the house menu.

Re: Missing binary - mikaelh's private server download page
Sorry about the broken link. I removed that now. I never compiled a Windows version of the 4.5.6 server because some people (namely tokariew) were experiencing issues with my builds. He already posted his latest build here so hopefully that works for you.

Re: Server maintenance November 24th, 2013
The maintenance should be over now. We ran into some unexpected problems but they should be fixed now. In particular, houses were generated wrongly in some world map sectors (e.g. west of Bree). We found out that something changed in GCC version 4.6 which breaks the houses. We have downgraded to GCC...

Server maintenance November 24th, 2013
We will be doing maintenance on the game server between 10:00 and 12:00 UTC on Sunday. There will be some downtime because we are moving to a different host. The game servers will be shutdown at 10:00 UTC, after which all save files will be transferred to the new server. We have reserved two hours f...

Re: Setting Server
I'm afraid not there's no way to choose where you want dungeons. You'll just have to keep resetting the server until you have the dungeons where you want them. Same goes for the oceans.

Re: How to apply config changes to server?
I checked those two options and the server should respect both of them. I'm not really sure why they're not working for you.
Which platform is the server running on? Is it Windows or Linux?
