Personally, I love the letters because you can quickly tell that particular monsters are dangerous by the way the letters are drawn. A dangerous D looks different to a simple D. Hi, I had a quick look at the fonts. At first glance they seem to be working. I may be able to do some proper tests to make sure it is all correct. If it passes the tests, then I'd be excited to see a 4.7.0b release, which includes the extra fonts. We need them. They make the game easier to play for...

My experience with boomerangs is that they have to be artifacts if you want to use them. Otherwise you lose them.

If you are wondering, the terminal is 80 characters wide and 25 high. If you double the height of the display it goes up to 50 high. Therefore, you can calculate how wide and how high you want the fonts to be. For example, the display on my laptop is 1366 x 768. And I wanted a full screen experience...
